Gems of Dorset
We will be based in the popular town of Weymouth, and have the potential to visit iconic locations such as Lulworth cove, Stair Hole, Durdle Door, Man 'o' War Bay, Weymouth itself, Lyme Regis, Portland, Swanage and weather depending some less well known locations. As the home of the Jurassic coast this workshop will lean heavily on these beautiful, geologically rich places.
Participants will be responsible for their own travel, parking, and accommodation (if required) costs.
The workshop fee excludes any personal or equipment Insurance.
A non-refundable deposit of £125 is required to secure your place. If the workshop is cancelled, all monies paid, including the deposit, will be refunded. No further liability can be accepted. The participant is responsible for their own travel, accommodation, food and insurance costs. We can advise on accommodation, if required.
The focus of the workshop will be to encourage the participants to think about their approach, and to be sure about the "story" they are trying to tell. During the workshop we will also provide guidance on camera settings, filtration and setup, as well as techniques to improve your compositions. You will receive a brief questionnaire before the workshop to allow us to tailor the content towards what you wish to learn.

Quotes from previous workshops:
"Thanks for yesterday - good to be made to think.
I'll get these shots out of the camera shortly - a pause will make me look more critically.!"
"Just a note to say thank you so much for yesterday's workshop. I really enjoyed it, despite my body deciding to seize up part way through!
I learned a lot about filters, histograms and composition. I've been looking online for a starter set of filters and am going to treat myself. I may go for the big stopper option and then add the others bit by bit, not sure yet!
I've also got my eye on a geared tripod head but that may have to wait a while!"
